Aloe Barberae 500mm

$550.00

Aloe Barberae, commonly known as Tree Aloe, is a majestic succulent species native to the arid regions of South Africa that adds a distinctive feature to gardens. Recognised for its tree like stature, this Aloe features a thick, grey-brown thunk crowned with rosettes of fleshy, lance shaped leaves. Well-suited for arid climates, and subtropical climates. Cold Hardy in Winter months, salt and wind tolerant.
Ensure planting in a well drained soil with a good fertiliser. If planting in pots long term, Aloe Barberae can thrive with a good fertiliser regularly. They love Seasol in the growing seasons as well as a good quality slow release fertiliser. We recommend Osmocote slow release fertiliser. Not totally necessary as Aloe Barberae is so hardy and tolerant, but your tree will certainly love you for it! During Winter, Orange flowers will occur for mature plants.
Perfect feature for Australian climates and most soil types.

Free local collection available + delivery Australia wide. Please contact to make an appointment or obtain a delivery quote. Some minimum delivery fee’s apply.
